Scripture : Roman 12:1-21

1. Introduction:
Burden for Chinese Work and Drug Work, started the Chinese work in 1983-1989.

2. Heart
– Definition – Spirit – Conscience
– Soul – Will, emotion, intellect – Emphasis on Attitude and Emotion

2.1. Heart at conversion – soul – will, emotion and intellect is touched.
– spirit is awakened – conscience is sensitive towards God.
– mind still need to be renewed by the word of God

2.2. Humility
– Do not be proud, don’t crave for recognition. (V3)
– Testimony.
– Regard others highly, esteem others.
– Recognize we are part of a whole body. (V4)
– Net working.

2.3. Anger and bitterness
– handle them properly as God would want you to handle
– Testimony
– Church Building Project.
– Being misunderstood.

2.4. Persistency (V12) Develop a strong will to succeed
– Never give up when the going is tough.

2.5. Promoting others – training people to take over your job.

3. How to nurture the heart.

3.1. Guard the heart – Prov 4.23

3.2. Regular cultivation od relationship with God. – workshop , prayer and fasting

3.3. Leading a repented life – constant supplication for the blood of Jesus to keep our heart and conscience – clean (Heb 10.22)

4. When the Devil knocks at the door I just let Jesus answer.
